On March 15, in Can Tho, the workshop "Communication on effective prevention of common cancers and updating the development of treatment methods" took place.
The workshop was organized by the Can Tho City Labor Federation (CLF) in coordination with ADCREW VIETNAM Company Limited, with the participation of 160 delegates.
At the workshop, topics will be discussed around: Stroke, cerebral aneurysm (complex, cause, signs, screening and treatment); radiotherapy in cancer (vertical radiotherapy and proton radiotherapy); as well as new treatments in cancer.
Mr. Doan Van Dung - Vice President of Can Tho City Labor Federation said that the workshop was a valuable opportunity to listen to experts, doctors, and researchers share the most advanced inventions and treatment methods.
The Vice President of the Federation of Labor also emphasized that updating the latest advances in treatment not only brings hope to patients but also helps prolong life and improve quality of life. In addition to medical advances, the conference also helps raise awareness of prevention and screening for early cancer detection, thereby having active and effective treatment methods.
The Standing Committee of the Can Tho City Labor Federation always focuses on propaganda work, supporting union members and workers to access health care programs. We hope that each union cadre, union member, and worker attending today's workshop will become a propagandist, spreading knowledge to all other union members and workers in their agencies, units, and enterprises, proactively protecting the health of themselves and their family members," Mr. Doan Van Dung added.
