On the afternoon of September 23, the Thong Nong Health Center organized a congress to establish the grassroots Trade Union for the 2026-2030 term, with the participation of 78 union members.
At the congress, the Steering Committee for establishing the grassroots Trade Union reported on the process of propaganda and mobilization of officials and employees to join the Trade Union organization; announced the list of 78 people who applied to join.
The Congress elected the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union for the term 2026-2030. The new Executive Committee then held the first meeting and launched the congress.
The 2026-2030 term activity program was approved by the congress, focusing on representing, caring for, and protecting the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of union members and workers.
Speaking at the congress, Ms. Sam Thi Thom, Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation, Deputy Head of the Trade Union Affairs Committee, requested the Executive Committee to soon stabilize the organization, build operating regulations and proactively grasp the thoughts and aspirations of union members.
The Trade Union needs to coordinate with the center's leaders to take care of workers' lives, and at the same time organize emulation movements suitable to the specific characteristics of the health sector.
The establishment of the grassroots Trade Union of Thong Nong Medical Center creates an additional focal point representing officials and employees at the unit, contributing to consolidating the Trade Union organization in the province.
