On October 17 and 18, the Labor Federation of Hai Chau, Son Tra, and Ngu Hanh Son districts organized a meeting with female grassroots union officials on the occasion of Vietnamese Women's Day, October 20.
On this occasion, local trade unions also organized thematic talks with female workers.
Accordingly, the Labor Federation of Hai Chau and Ngu Hanh Son districts organized a talk on "Women participating in politics and preserving family happiness in the new context and situation" to promote the role of women in society.
Son Tra District Labor Federation informs and propagates the Law on Prevention and Control of Domestic Violence; traditions of Vietnamese women through the ages; the role and position of women in building happy families and the issue of women in politics today.
On this occasion, the Labor Federation of districts of Da Nang also presented gifts to support female union members and workers in difficult circumstances at affiliated grassroots unions from the unit's Union operating budget.
