This is one of the meaningful activities on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army and the 35th anniversary of National Defense Day.
The twinning program for the period 2024-2028 between the two units includes specific contents such as: Coordinating to promote propaganda, popularize legal education, mobilize people, cadres, union members, and soldiers to well implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and State. Propagating to build the image of "Uncle Ho's soldiers", excellent, dynamic, and creative union cadres.
Along with that, coordinate well in implementing emulation movements and campaigns. Build a strong Trade Union of the Provincial Confederation of Labor and Sen Thuong Border Guard Station, meeting the requirements of the task of building and protecting the Fatherland in the new situation.
In addition, coordinate to mobilize union members, workers, civil servants, laborers and people to actively participate in implementing the contents of "National Border Guard Day"; Movement "All people participate in protecting territorial sovereignty and national border security in the new situation", together with the Border Guard and other forces to propagate, prevent and combat activities violating border regulations.
During the twinning program, the two units organized cultural and sports exchange activities, creating a joyful, exciting, practical and meaningful atmosphere. In addition, the organization presented 7 gifts to the adopted children of the border guard station, 30 sets of clothes and warm blankets worth nearly 20 million VND.
On this occasion, the Trade Union of Dien Bien Provincial Confederation of Labor also visited and presented 8 gifts worth 16 million VND to A Pa Chai Border Guard Station; visited and presented gifts to 2 communes and 4 schools in Muong Nhe district.
