On the afternoon of October 17, the Thanh Binh District Labor Federation (Dong Thap Province) organized the 2024 "Union Meal" culinary contest to practically celebrate the 94th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Women's Union (October 20, 1930 - October 20, 2024).
The competition had the participation of 20 teams from the grassroots trade unions under the Thanh Binh District Labor Federation. Each team showed off their skills in cooking and decorating a meal tray consisting of 4 nutritious dishes and enough for 10 people, including 3 savory dishes and 1 sweet dish within 90 minutes.
Speaking at the contest, Mr. Nguyen Quang Thi - Chairman of Thanh Binh District Labor Federation - said: "The culinary contest "Union Meal" aims to create conditions for union members to exchange knowledge, experience and cooking skills, contributing to delicious daily meals, thereby creating sustainable relationships and sharing among union members".
In the final results, the Organizing Committee awarded first, second, third and consolation prizes to the teams, in which the Pilmico Vietnam Company Limited's Trade Union team excellently won first prize.
