On the afternoon of February 21, in Hong Ngu City (Dong Thap Province), Emulation Cluster No. 2 including the Labor Federations of Tam Nong, Tan Hong, Hong Ngu, Thanh Binh, Thap Muoi districts and Hong Ngu City held a conference to summarize activities in 2024 and sign an emulation agreement in 2025.
In 2024, units in Emulation Cluster No. 2 focused on implementing and effectively implementing many activities and programs. Notable is the care for union members and workers, especially during the Lunar New Year, the "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Chia Chia" Program, Workers' Month, Labor Safety and Hygiene Month. Trade unions at all levels have presented more than 16,000 gifts, scholarships, free medical examinations and medicine to union members and workers in difficulty, policy families, students who have overcome difficulties and studied well... with a total amount of over 6 billion VND; mobilized contributions to support storm No. 3 in the Northern provinces with an amount of more than 3.2 billion VND; established 5 new non-state enterprise trade unions and 7 trade unions; admitted 3,844 union members, introduced 671 outstanding union members to the Party for consideration of admission.
The units have also focused on launching many emulation movements launched by provinces, districts and cities, focusing on the emulation movement "Good workers, Creative workers", emulation "Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, morality and style", emulation to achieve the pinnacle of achievements to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam Trade Union and to celebrate the Party Congresses at all levels.
At the conference, the units also signed an emulation agreement for 2025 with the theme "Focusing on developing union members; Participating in building a clean and strong Party", with 6 key tasks including: Propaganda, dissemination, and study of the Resolution of the 11th Congress of Dong Thap Trade Union; each Labor Union in the cluster to build a "Union Shelter" to meet the target assigned by the province; each Labor Union in the cluster to mobilize strong and mobilize 50 million VND to visit union members and children of union members in difficult circumstances; each Labor Union in the cluster to develop union members and establish a grassroots trade union to achieve and exceed the target assigned by the province in 2024...
