On February 27, the Dong Thap Provincial Federation of Labor (DOLF) held a conference to summarize 10 years of implementing Resolution 06b/NQ-TLD dated August 3, 2015 and 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01/KL-BCH dated March 15, 2021 of the Executive Committee of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on improving the quality and efficiency of the activities of the Trade Union Inspection Committee.
The conference was attended by Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui - President of the Provincial Federation of Labor; Mr. Nguyen Thanh Tuan - Vice President of the Provincial Federation of Labor.

Over 10 years of implementing the Resolution, trade unions at all levels in the province have raised awareness of the importance of inspection and supervision, improved the quality and effectiveness of the Trade Union Inspection Committee's activities, innovated the content and methods of leadership and direction of the workers' movement, trade union activities, and management of trade union finance and assets, contributing to improving the quality of trade union activities at all levels in the province.
Notably, the Inspection Committees at all levels of trade unions in the province have helped the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee organize 6,018 inspections of compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union, of which 4,720 inspections were conducted at the same level and 1,298 inspections were conducted at the same level. There are 1,603 supervision of compliance with the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union for organizations and individuals, of which 1,033 supervision of organizations and 570 supervision of individuals are conducted.
Through inspection and supervision, it is shown that trade unions at all levels have complied with the provisions of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter, resolutions, directives and instructions of higher-level trade unions; proactively developed programs and action plans; implemented resolutions of trade union congresses at all levels, associated with propaganda, dissemination, and implementation of Party policies and resolutions and State policies and laws.

At the conference, delegates shared many new models, good practices and limitations and difficulties in organizing and implementing inspection and supervision tasks and proposed solutions to improve the quality of inspection work of trade unions, contributing significantly to the innovation of trade union organization and activities, successfully implementing the targets and tasks set by the Resolution of the 13th Congress of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor and the Resolution of the 11th Congress of the Provincial General Confederation of Labor.
Concluding the conference, Ms. Huynh Thi Tuyet Vui highly appreciated the proactiveness, flexibility and creativity of trade unions at all levels in the province over the past 10 years of implementing the Resolution, thereby achieving and exceeding 06/06 of the set targets.

The Chairman of the Provincial Federation of Labor requested that trade unions at all levels pay attention to good, creative ways of doing things, research and apply them to implementation at their units; pay attention to reviewing inspection and supervision programs that are specific, serious, key, and close to reality; educate and improve the sense of responsibility and moral qualities of cadres, union members, and workers; strengthen training and professional guidance, especially legal knowledge related to workers for cadres working in inspection and supervision at all levels of trade unions in the province.
