Many regimes are improved thanks to dialogue
During the dialogue, representatives of the Trade Union of Horn Vietnam Co., Ltd. made 5 proposals from employees related to the regime and benefits of female workers. Each proposal was listened to and resolved by the company's management board according to the actual situation at the enterprise. In which, 4 recommendations were agreed and resolved by the company, including signing a continued labor contract with pregnant female employees, maternity leave for children under 12 months whose labor contracts have expired; female employees are entitled to take a leave during their menstrual period according to regulations. If they do not take a leave, employees will be supported with 55,000 VND/person/month (an increase of 17,200 VND compared to before).
The company also agreed with the proposal that during the maternity leave, female workers are entitled to the full allowance for diligence (760,000 VND/person/month). Female workers with young children under 12 months old are given 70 minutes off during their working time to rest and collect milk (an increase of 10 minutes compared to before), and are still paid according to the labor contract.
Regarding the fifth proposal related to increasing monthly support for female workers raising children under 6 years old from VND50,000/child to VND100,000/child, Ms. Ha Thi Hong Nhung - Chairwoman of the grassroots union - said that workers have to work overtime regularly, some days overtime until 7-8pm. Meanwhile, public kindergartens pay their children before 5pm, many female workers have to send their children to private kindergartens with higher funding.
"The company currently has 261 cases of children of workers of working age who are supported, with this increase, the company only has to spend an additional 13 million VND per month. Increasing child support to share with employees is somewhat difficult" - the grassroots union argued.
Before the recommendations of the employees as well as the opinions from the grassroots trade union, the company's leaders shared difficulties in production and business activities, especially in the coming time, the US could impose taxes to Vietnam. Therefore, the company will consider and research to make decisions as soon as possible.

At this point, Hai Phong Labor Federation will study and replicate the grassroots trade unions, in the immediate future, the units with a large number of female workers.
Mr. Yu Peng Hui - Deputy General Director of Horn Company Limited - said that the company maintains an annual dialogue to resolve the opinions and recommendations of union members and employees. Thanks to that, employees feel secure in working, sticking with the enterprise, and some employees have accompanied the company for 8 years.
