Hung Ha Commune Police, Hung Yen Province has just coordinated with grassroots unions to organize propaganda on fraud methods and tricks on cyberspace for nearly 450 union members, workers and laborers of Hai Lam Import-Export Trading Company Limited (Hung Ha Commune).

At the propaganda session, the police force disseminated current forms of fraud, especially sophisticated tricks such as: impersonating online collaborators on social networks to scam money; impersonating banks to support preferential interest rate loans; impersonating authorities to request the installation of malware, updating personal information, biometrics through links containing malware.

In addition, Hung Ha Commune Police also issued 10 important recommendations to help union members and employees raise their vigilance, proactively prevent, avoid, protect personal information, control friendships via social networks; be careful when conducting online transactions, do not access fake websites and applications, do not install software of unknown origin; strictly manage the registration and use of bank accounts.

Through the campaign, it aims to raise awareness and knowledge about online fraud activities, helping employees protect themselves and their families, avoiding potential risks in cyberspace.
