On the morning of March 15, at the Nha Trang Sports Training and Competition Center, the Khanh Hoa Health Sector Trade Union organized the opening ceremony of the Sports Festival for workers and civil servants in the health sector in 2025.
The opening ceremony of the sports festival was attended by Ms. Pham Thanh Binh - President of the Vietnam Health Trade Union and more than 600 delegates representing the Khanh Hoa Department of Health, the Khanh Hoa Provincial Federation of Labor, the Industry Trade Union and athletes from 34 affiliated trade unions.
Mr. Nguyen Dinh Thoan - Deputy Director of the Department of Health, Chairman of the Khanh Hoa Health Sector Trade Union - said that this is the 14th time the sports festival has been held with the aim of creating a practical playground, encouraging a large number of employees in the health sector to enthusiastically participate in physical exercise and sports.
At the same time, it creates a friendly exchange environment, contributing to building a healthy and joyful lifestyle, improving the health of employees to examine and treat diseases and complete their work well.
The sports festival takes place from March 13-16 with 4 competitions including: table tennis, badminton, men's football and women's football. The sports festival was attended by 600 male and female athletes who are doctors, pharmacists, technicians, nurses, nurses and employees working at 34 units under the industry.
Through the sports festival, the Industry Union also selects athletes with excellent achievements to participate in sports festivals organized by all levels.
Currently, Khanh Hoa Health Sector has 7,472 union members/7,781 employees, including 5,218 female union members.
The Khanh Hoa Health Sector's employees are mostly young workers, with 85.6% of workers aged 30-45; healthy, knowledgeable, capable and experienced, convenient in receiving and applying science and technology to people's health care, contributing significantly to the socio-economic development of the province.
