On January 17, at the Kien Giang Provincial Youth Activity Center, the Kien Giang Provincial Civil Servants' Union coordinated with the Office of the Traffic Safety Committee and the Kien Giang Provincial Youth Activity Center to organize sports activities to celebrate the Spring of At Ty 2025 and the 95th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3, 1930 - February 3, 2025).
Nearly 600 athletes and supporters from 66 grassroots trade unions of provincial agencies and units under the Trade Union of Vietnam competed in four sports, including: Team tug of war, sack race relay, safe motorbike driving and Hanoi tower.
Mr. Nguyen Quoc Hung - Chairman of the Kien Giang Provincial Trade Union - said that the sports activities to celebrate Spring, the traditional New Year of the nation and the 95th anniversary of the Party's founding are meaningful events, bringing a joyful and exciting atmosphere to cadres, civil servants, public employees and workers on the threshold of the New Year of At Ty 2025.
The sports festival creates opportunities for union members to exchange, strengthen solidarity, and share experiences in work and life, contributing to the successful implementation of the goals and tasks of agencies, units and the province's socio-economic development in 2025. Thereby, it also contributes to developing the physical training movement and promoting safe motorbike driving, raising awareness when participating in traffic.
This is a cultural and spiritual playground for civil servants, public employees and workers of the province to enthusiastically enter the new year with good and successful beginnings, contributing to enriching the spiritual life of union officials, union members, civil servants, public employees and workers when Spring comes and Tet comes.
As a result, the Organizing Committee awarded 32 first, second, third and consolation prizes to the competing teams.
