On August 21, the Lai Chau Provincial Labor Federation (LĐLĐ) organized a Conference to commend children of Trade Union members who achieved high achievements in studying and training in the 2025-2026 school year.
At the conference, the Provincial Labor Federation commended 78 students, including 4 students who won national prizes and 74 students who won provincial prizes in the excellent student, science and technology and creative engineering exams in the 2025-2026 school year.
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Luong Xuan Truong - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation - emphasized that caring for the children of union members and workers is an important task of the Trade Union organization, contributing to creating a "solid rear" for union members to feel secure in their work.
Although there is still much pressure in the process of operating the 2-level local government model, the team of union members still strives to complete professional tasks, while taking care of and raising children.
Mr. Tong Thanh Binh - Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Lai Chau province acknowledged and praised the achievements of the students; and highly appreciated the dedication of the teaching staff and the companion role of the Trade Union organization in caring for and educating the young generation.
Representing the students who were commended, Nguyen Dinh Tung, a student of class 8A7, Tan Phong Secondary School, who won the first prize at the provincial level in Mathematics, expressed his gratitude to his family, teachers and leaders at all levels; and committed to continue to strive to study and train.
The conference also proposed that trade union levels continue to promote the movement "Building a learning family", strengthen coordination between families, schools and trade unions, contributing to creating a favorable environment for students to develop comprehensively.
