On August 21, 2026, at the Party Central Committee Headquarters, after considering the proposal of the Central Inspection Committee on disciplinary action against violating party members, the Secretariat noted that the following individuals: Tran Quy Kien, former: Member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee, Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Environment; Nguyen Van Dung, Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of the Department of Science and Technology of Bac Ninh province (former Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of Viet Yen District Party Committee, Bac Giang province); Nguyen Thi Gai, former: Provincial Party Committee Member, Secretary of the Party Committee, General Director of Dong Nai Rubber Corporation Limited Company, have declined in political ideology, morality, and lifestyle; violated Party regulations and State laws in performing assigned responsibilities and tasks; in preventing and combating corruption, wastefulness, and negativity; violated regulations on what party members are not allowed to do and the responsibility of setting an example, causing very serious consequences, public outrage, and greatly negatively affecting the prestige of Party organizations, localities, agencies, and public
Based on the content, nature, severity, consequences, and causes of violations; based on the Party's regulations on disciplinary action against violating party members, the Secretariat decided to impose the disciplinary action of Expulsion from the Party on the following individuals: Tran Quy Kien, Nguyen Van Dung, Nguyen Thi Gai.
It is proposed that functional agencies promptly and synchronously implement administrative discipline with Party discipline.
