On June 10, Chairwoman of the Da Lat City Labor Federation - Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Duong informed that the unit had just announced the decision to dissolve and end the activities of 86 grassroots unions.
This activity is part of the program and plan of the unit to carry out the task of streamlining the organization and apparatus of the political system to operate effectively, efficiently and efficiently.
According to Ms. Duong, the Da Lat City Labor Federation currently has 245 grassroots unions with more than 13,300 union members.
In recent times, grassroots trade unions have focused on propagating and mobilizing union members to comply with the policies and laws of the Party, the State, and the resolutions of the trade union.
Along with that, the union organizes patriotic emulation movements, encourages workers to strive to fulfill their tasks well...
"Through these activities, the representative role of the trade union organization is increasingly affirmed; the legitimate and legal rights and interests of workers are guaranteed" - Ms. Duong emphasized.
Ms. Dinh Thi Thuy Duong said that based on the project of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, the unit issued a decision to dissolve 86 grassroots unions and terminated the activities of the Executive Committee, Standing Committee, and Inspection Committee of these grassroots unions.
Ms. Duong said that the dissolved trade unions this time belong to administrative agencies and public service units receiving 100% of their salaries from the State budget.
On this occasion, the Da Lat City Labor Federation also instructed grassroots unions to conduct settlements, submit financial documents and union assets to the higher-level union and submit seals and seal registration forms to the provincial police agency according to regulations.
