On January 8, the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation held a ceremony to announce the decision to establish 3 grassroots trade unions in Tra Tan commune.
This is a border area of Dong Nai province, where many industrial clusters such as Dong Ha and Nam Ha are concentrated.
The three newly established grassroots trade unions include: the grassroots trade union of Sun Farm Livestock Co., Ltd. with 57 union members; the grassroots trade union of Happy Livestock Co., Ltd. with 34 union members and the grassroots trade union of Red Box Food Co., Ltd. with 14 union members.
In which, Red Box Food Co., Ltd. is a 100% foreign-invested enterprise, operating in Dong Ha Industrial Cluster.
At the ceremony, Mr. Ho Cong Duong - Vice Chairman of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation awarded decisions on establishing grassroots trade unions, decisions on admitting union members and appointing the Provisional Executive Committee of grassroots trade unions to each unit.
Speaking to assign tasks, Mr. Ho Cong Duong requested the Executive Committees of grassroots trade unions to quickly stabilize the organization, grasp the labor situation, and represent the collective of workers to participate in negotiating and signing collective labor agreements with employers.
At the same time, coordinate with businesses to build salary scales, tables, internal regulations, and rules directly related to the legitimate and lawful rights and interests of employees.
Leaders of the Provincial Labor Federation also emphasized the role of grassroots trade unions in organizing labor and production emulation movements, contributing to improving productivity and business efficiency, building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations at enterprises.
According to the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation, these are the first 3 grassroots trade unions established in Tra Tan commune after Tra Tan Commune Trade Union was officially established and went into operation from November 21, 2025.
The presence of trade union organizations in Tra Tan commune helps trade union organizations closely follow the grassroots level, being a bridge between businesses and workers, especially in mountainous areas, areas with many workers. Thereby helping workers feel secure in long-term attachment to businesses, stabilize labor relations and promote socio-economic development in the locality.
