On January 15, the Trade Union of Duc Trong commune (Lam Dong province) held the First Conference of the Provisional Executive Committee.
At the conference, the unit announced the decisions of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation on organization and personnel including: Decision to establish the Commune Trade Union; decision to appoint the Executive Committee, Standing Committee and the position of Provisional Chairman of the Commune Trade Union.
Accordingly, the Executive Committee of Duc Trong Commune Trade Union includes 11 members, the Standing Committee includes 3 members; Mr. Nguyen Thien Tien was appointed to hold the position of Chairman of Duc Trong Commune Trade Union.
Immediately after the launch, the Executive Committee of the Commune Trade Union discussed and decided on many important contents related to the organization and operation of the trade union such as: Promulgating working regulations; assigning tasks to members of the Executive Committee and the Standing Committee.
Currently, Duc Trong Commune Trade Union manages 46 grassroots trade unions and grassroots trade unions with more than 3,000 union members and workers.
Mr. Nguyen Thien Tien - Chairman of the Trade Union of Duc Trong commune - said that the regimes on salaries, social insurance and working conditions at units are basically guaranteed according to legal regulations.
However, the income of many unskilled workers working in agricultural product processing enterprises is still low compared to the general level, directly affecting the lives of union members and workers.
The commune trade union will accompany grassroots trade unions, strengthen dialogue and negotiation with employers to improve wages and welfare policies for workers," Mr. Tien emphasized.
Speaking at the conference, Ms. Vu Thi Oanh - Vice President of the Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation oriented a number of key contents in the coming time.
In which, focusing on taking care of the 2026 Binh Ngo Lunar New Year for union members and workers; innovating the content and methods of operation with the motto "All union members have Tet".
In addition, the trade union continues to promote propaganda about the 14th National Congress of the Party and the Resolution of the 1st Provincial Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
