Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation has just organized a summary of the patriotic emulation movement for the period 2020 - 2025.
According to the assessment, emulation movements have been actively implemented by trade unions at all levels, with many innovations in content and form, becoming an important driving force to promote initiatives, improve techniques, and improve labor productivity.
Mr. Nguyen Phu Hoang - Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation said that in the past 5 years, workers in the whole province have contributed more than 15,000 initiatives, bringing in a profit of over 90 billion VND.
Many initiatives help save raw materials, production costs, improve product quality, and are recognized and rewarded by businesses and industry levels.
A typical example is Mr. Nguyen Chi Son, a worker at Di Linh Forestry One Member Co., Ltd., who is considered a "Zero-dong inventive house".
From recycling lipso saws left to use for trays, he has helped businesses save hundreds of millions of VND per year, while increasing productivity and increasing workers' income by 1.5 times.
Or Mr. Truong Anh Duong, Duc Trong Water Supply and Drainage and Construction Joint Stock Company, has manufactured a compact underground drilling rig, suitable for narrow locations that market drilling machines cannot meet.
This initiative helps reduce installation costs by one-third, while saving more labor during construction.
In the period of 2020 - 2025, the Provincial Trade Union has commended and proposed that competent authorities commend more than 100 outstanding collectives and 1,800 individuals.
Mr. Hoang emphasized: "This is a worthy recognition for the initiatives from the hands, minds and passion for labor of workers".
