On August 24, Mr. Bui Duy Giap - Chairman of the Trade Union of Nam Nung Nature Reserve (Lam Dong province) said that the unit had just organized a "Union Meal" to connect workers.
Mr. Giap shared that this is not only an opportunity to meet and meet all units but also a connection and sharing between the Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union, the leadership and workers on the occasion of the "Independence Festival" of the nation.
Nam Nung Nature Reserve is responsible for managing and protecting more than 23,000 hectares of special-use and biodiversity forests. The unit currently has 70 employees, with the lowest income (after deducting social insurance) of about 6.8 million VND/month.
Due to the large area, the force often works scatteredly, so there are few opportunities to gather in large numbers. Therefore, the grassroots Trade Union has proposed that the leadership organize a "Union Meal" to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day on September 2.
Each meal is worth 200,000 VND; of which, 120,000 VND is from the budget of the unit and the union. "We want to create an exciting atmosphere so that we can feel secure in protecting the forest during the National Day holidays on September 2," said Mr. Giap.
Attending the program, Mr. Phan Thanh Thai - Vice President of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation highly appreciated the creative approach of the company's grassroots trade union.
Mr. Thai suggested that the company's grassroots union continue to be close to union members, coordinate with unit leaders to ensure jobs, increase income and better care for the spiritual life of workers.
On this occasion, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor presented 5 gifts, each worth 500,000 VND, to support union members and workers in difficult circumstances.
