On June 25, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation informed that the Party Cell here has just held the 1st Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
This Congress focuses on determining goals, targets, tasks, and solutions to lead trade union activities in the 2025-2030 period.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation - Mr. Hoang Lien said that the Labor Federations of Lam Dong, Binh Thuan, Dak Nong provinces will merge from July 1.
Along with that, the Provincial Trade Union was also merged with the Vietnam Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations of the province.
After the end of the union activities of agencies and units receiving 100% of salaries from the State budget, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation has about 85,000 union members.
These union members work in enterprises and units that do not receive 100% of their salaries from the State budget and grassroots unions.
"This time the National Assembly has decided on specific targets and tasks, suitable for the context and high feasibility. Especially to meet the requirements and tasks of the new Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union organization, said Mr. Hoang Lien.

The goal is that by 2030, trade unions in enterprises will mobilize 90% or more of workers to join the union. In enterprises that have not organized labor representation, the majority of workers are gathered and participate in trade union activities.
Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union sent representatives to participate in consulting and arguing in at least 75% of cases of union members and trade union organizations in need.
Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union strives to establish trade unions every year in 100% of enterprises with 25 or more workers. Every year, 93% or more of enterprise trade unions negotiate and sign collective labor agreements...
These key targets and tasks aim to build a new Lam Dong Provincial Trade Union to develop, represent, protect legitimate and legal rights and interests and care for and improve the lives of union members and workers, Mr. Hoang Lien affirmed.
