On June 23, Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor informed that in the first 5 months of 2025, the unit established 15 new grassroots unions and grassroots unions with nearly 1,800 union members.
Chairman of Lam Dong Provincial Federation of Labor - Mr. Hoang Lien said that the unit will soon implement the targets and tasks assigned by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor in 2025.
With the theme "Focusing on developing union members; participating in building a clean and strong Party", the unit will develop a plan and assign targets to trade unions at all levels.
We focus on developing union members and establishing unions outside the State sector; determined to green unions in enterprises with 10 or more employees, Mr. Hoang Lien shared.
According to Mr. Hoang Lien, through coordination with departments, branches and localities, the unit has grasped the number of enterprises operating in the area.
From data on enterprises and workers, Lam Dong Provincial Labor Federation assigned the target of establishing trade unions to each district-level trade union.
Mr. Lien shared: "Along with assigning targets, we provide specific information about the address of the enterprise, the number of employees who have participated in social insurance contributions and contact units so that the district-level union can immediately implement them"...
In recent times, trade unions at all levels in Lam Dong have focused on organizing activities to care for union members, enhancing the image and influence of the trade union organization.
The union organizes the giving of "Union Shelters", giving Tet gifts, giving bus tickets to return home for Tet to union members and workers in difficult circumstances; promotes negotiation, signing of collective labor agreements, and cooperation agreements on welfare for union members.
In the first 5 months of 2025, the union also introduced 226 outstanding union members for the Party to consider and train to admit into the Communist Party of Vietnam...
Practice activities, focusing on the grassroots, for union members are the most effective form of propaganda for us to attract workers to join the trade union organization, Mr. Hoang Lien affirmed.
