Previously, immediately after receiving information from the grassroots, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor quickly sent union officials to coordinate with functional forces to grasp the situation and send deep condolences to the victim's family.
The above activities demonstrate the proactiveness, responsibility and timeliness of Lao Cai Provincial Trade Unions at all levels in representing, protecting and caring for union members and workers.

According to the report, at around 9:30 a.m. on July 4, at the slag drawer of Yen Binh Cement Company, during the inspection of the equipment, the workers reported to Mr. Nguyen Cong Thang (51 years old, residing in Yen Binh commune, Lao Cai province) that the vacuum cleaner was blocked.
After receiving the report, Mr. Thang went out to check and took a hammer to hit the pipeline. At this time, the engine in the vacuum tube fell onto the roof, causing the roof to collapse, Mr. Thang fell down and was taken to the hospital for emergency treatment but did not survive.
Currently, Lao Cai Provincial Labor Federation is coordinating with functional forces to clarify the incident according to the provisions of law.
