On November 1, Lao Cai Provincial Federation of Labor coordinated with the Department of Culture and Sports to organize the opening ceremony of the 2024 provincial badminton, table tennis, and volleyball tournament for workers, civil servants, and laborers.
The tournament attracted 454 athletes from 16 delegations from Labor Federations of districts, cities, towns; Industry Unions and equivalent, competing in 3 sports.
The award is an annual activity of the Provincial Labor Federation, practically aiming to celebrate the 73rd anniversary of the founding of Lao Cai Provincial Labor Union (November 15, 1951 - November 15, 2024).
At the same time, create a useful and meaningful playground for workers, civil servants and laborers to exchange, compete and demonstrate their sports talents.
Thereby affirming the role of the Trade Union organization in taking care of spiritual life, being the driving force for developing the physical training and sports movement, enhancing the spirit of solidarity and mutual understanding among trade unions at all levels in the province, contributing to the completion of local socio-economic development goals.
The tournament will be held over 2 days, from November 1 to 2, 2024. Immediately after the Opening Ceremony, competitions in all 3 sports will take place.
