Responding to Workers' Month and Action Month on Occupational Safety and Health in 2026, on May 15, Bao Thang Commune Trade Union organized the Pickleball Tournament for workers, civil servants, and laborers with the participation of a large number of union members and laborers in the area.
The tournament is organized to create a vibrant emulation atmosphere among union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers, practically celebrating the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress, term 2026 - 2030 and major holidays of the country in 2026.
According to the Organizing Committee, in recent years, the sports movement among union members and workers in the province has become increasingly strong.
In which, Pickleball has become a sport that attracts a large number of officials and union members to participate in training and competition, contributing to improving spiritual life and practicing health after working hours.
This year's Bao Thang Commune CNVCLĐ Pickleball Tournament takes place in 2 days with the participation of 29 pairs of athletes, including 58 athletes from grassroots trade unions directly under Bao Thang Commune Trade Union.
Through the tournament, athletes have the opportunity to exchange, learn from experience, improve professional qualifications, and at the same time contribute to promoting the mass sports movement among workers, civil servants, and laborers to become increasingly widespread.
This is also an opportunity for the Organizing Committee to discover and select talented athletes to participate in provincial-level tournaments in the near future.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Chairman of Bao Thang Commune Trade Union Nguyen Thanh Binh expressed his deep gratitude for the concern and support of agencies, units, businesses and grassroots trade unions. Financial and time support has created favorable conditions for union members and workers to fully participate in the tournament, contributing to the overall success of the program.
