Attending the meeting were Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation, representatives of business leaders with employees participating in the football team and members of Nghe An Trade Union football team.
The final round of the 2024 Vietnam Civil Servants Football Tournament includes 16 teams, divided into 4 groups. Nghe An Trade Union team is in group D with the teams: Ben Tre Trade Union, Banking Trade Union and Sacombank Binh Duong.
Participating in this tournament, Nghe An Trade Union football team consists of 18 athletes. The whole team has been practicing and preparing for the final round since October 20.
Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Kha Van Tam - Chairman of the Provincial Labor Federation said that Nghe An is a locality with a football tradition, especially in recent years, grassroots football has increasingly developed, with many playgrounds and football tournaments attracting a large number of workers.
With 2 championship titles in the qualifying round, the head of the Nghe An Provincial Labor Federation affirmed the strength and position of the Nghe An Trade Union football team in this final round; hoping that the players will be confident and determined to achieve high results with a noble sportsmanship spirit, strictly complying with the regulations of the Organizing Committee and the referee team.
Mr. Kha Van Tam also thanked the leaders of the businesses for their attention and support so that the players could compete with peace of mind, and affirmed that the Provincial Federation of Labor and businesses will continue to accompany and support the Nghe An Trade Union football team.
On the same afternoon, the Standing Committee of the Provincial Labor Federation and members of the Nghe An Trade Union football team offered incense at Ho Chi Minh Square.
