On January 14, the Quang Binh Industry and Trade Union held a conference to deploy union tasks and the program "Happy Tet - Spring of gratitude to the Party" in 2025.
Mr. Phan Manh Hung - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industry and Trade of Quang Binh province - said that on the occasion of the Lunar New Year of Giap Thin 2024, the whole industry has 32/40 grassroots trade unions organizing "Tet Sum Vay 2024" for union members and workers with 4,045 gifts worth 3.1 billion VND.
90% of grassroots unions have coordinated with professionals to allocate funds from the construction fund to reward and support union members and workers with an average amount from 500,000 VND to 8 million VND/person, the highest unit is 25 million VND/person; creating conditions for union members and workers to celebrate Tet with their families in a joyful and frugal spirit.
The Trade Union of the Industry and Trade sector also organized a discussion on workplace safety; presented 40 "Worker's Month" gifts, each worth VND500,000 in cash and 15 gift bags, each worth VND300,000, and supported the construction of two new "Union Shelters" for workers, each worth VND40 million...
Responding to the program "Godmother - connecting love", the Industry Union adopted Nguyen Ngoc Bao Yen for 5 years.
To welcome the Lunar New Year 2025, the Industry Union has issued a plan to organize activities to care for union members and workers on the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2025. The amount of 260 million VND is supported by the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor (VGCL), the Vietnam Trade Union of Industry and Trade, and the Provincial Federation of Labor as a gift of "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Deng".
During the 2025 Lunar New Year, grassroots trade unions in the Industry and Trade sector have donated over 3,000 gifts to support workers and laborers with a total amount of nearly 2.4 billion VND.
Vice President of Quang Binh Provincial Labor Federation Le Minh Duc acknowledged the contributions of the Industry and Trade Union in recent times.
Mr. Duc noted a number of key tasks in the coming time, including protecting the legitimate rights and interests of workers; promoting emulation movements, activities, and innovation; and promoting the establishment of grassroots trade unions outside the state sector.
