Mr. Phan Thanh Liem - Chairman of Khanh Hoa Provincial Labor Federation - said that in 2024, Khanh Hoa Labor Union basically completed and exceeded the set targets.
Currently, Khanh Hoa has 112,308 cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers in agencies, units, and enterprises with trade unions. Of these, 95,656 are union members, and the total number of grassroots trade unions is 1,525 units.
The labor and employment situation in the province in 2024 will continue to recover and develop stably. The average income of workers is 7.3 million VND/person/month.
Last year, the provincial Trade Unions at all levels organized many practical activities to celebrate the 95th anniversary of the Vietnam Trade Union. The Trade Unions at all levels had many good and specific ways to better care for the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers in all fields.
In particular, it has supported Tet care for more than 50,000 union members and workers with a total budget of over 50 billion VND; supported thousands of union members and workers in difficult circumstances, reduced wages, reduced working days, work accidents, serious illnesses... during Workers' Month, holidays...
In particular, the first year of implementation of the "Union Meal" program has recorded the support and response of many businesses and units, with more than 42,000 workers benefiting.
Last year, the work of caring for union members with housing difficulties at all levels of Khanh Hoa Trade Union reached its highest milestone with 50 cases receiving support to build new and repair warm houses, with a support amount of more than 2.4 billion VND.
Unions at all levels focused on developing union members to mobilize workers in the informal sector to join the Vietnam Trade Union. In 2024, 5 unions were established with 638 union members; more than 12,540 new union members were developed, 61 grassroots unions were established; 1,662 outstanding union members were introduced to the Party for training and consideration for Party admission...

At the same time, the activities of 6/8 industry unions will end and new unions of the Party and government sectors will be established...
According to Mr. Phan Thanh Liem, in the immediate future, the Trade Union at all levels will focus on implementing the plan to take care of Tet for union members and workers with about 10,000 Tet gifts from the Trade Union that will be given to union members in need before Tet.
In particular, the program "Tet Sum Vay - Xuan Ung Dang" and the Trade Union Tet market were organized clearly and effectively; the supervision of salary adjustment and Tet bonuses for union members and employees was strengthened, and any arising issues were proactively handled. Trade unions at all levels actively grasped the thoughts and aspirations of union members and employees, and encouraged union members and employees to comply with the provisions of the law, and return to work according to the plan of the unit and enterprise after celebrating Tet.
