On January 15, the Quang Binh Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union held a conference to summarize union activities in 2024 and orient activities in 2025.
Chairwoman of the Quang Binh Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union Ngo Thi My Binh said that the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union is directly managing 53 grassroots unions; the total number of civil servants, public employees, and workers in the grassroots unions is 3,705 people. Of which, there are 3,697 union members, accounting for 99.78% of the total number of civil servants, public employees, and workers.
The Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union has developed, issued a plan and well organized the implementation of Tet care activities for union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2024.
From the support of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, the Provincial Confederation of Labor, the Trade Union of the Provincial Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the financial resources of the Provincial Civil Servants' Trade Union, 338 gifts were provided during the Lunar New Year for union members and workers in difficult circumstances, with a total amount of more than 156 million VND.
The trade unions in the bloc have proactively coordinated with professionals to develop plans to care for and support the material and spiritual lives of union members and workers. Focus on understanding the ideological situation, life, and family circumstances; supervise the implementation of salaries, bonuses, regimes, and policies for union members and workers at agencies and units.
In Workers' Month 2024, the Provincial Civil Servants' Union directly visited and supported 25 union members in difficult circumstances and with serious illnesses with a total amount of 17.5 million VND; requested the Provincial Union Social Fund to support the construction of a union shelter worth 40 million VND. The grassroots unions presented 245 gifts to union members and workers with a total amount of 98 million VND.
In 2025, grassroots trade unions need to closely coordinate with heads of agencies and units to promote propaganda activities on policies, goals, requirements and tasks of streamlining the organizational apparatus of the political system.
Coordinate with leaders of agencies and units in implementing policies and regimes for cadres, union members, civil servants, public employees, and workers affected by organizational restructuring.
Thoroughly grasp and implement the Trade Union Law (amended) and the Charter, Instructions for implementing the Charter of Vietnam Trade Union (term XIII), especially new points for cadres, union members, and employees.
Implement activities in response to Workers' Month 2025; take care of Tet for union members and workers on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2026. Focus on performing well the task of representing and protecting the legitimate and legal rights and interests of union members and workers...
