Improving foreign language skills for tourism workers

Quang Tri - The grassroots Trade Union of Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourism Center launched a movement to learn English, helping union members improve their skills in serving international visitors.

On April 1, the Labor Federation said that the grassroots Trade Union of Phong Nha - Ke Bang Tourist Center had just organized a launching ceremony for the movement of union members and workers learning English to improve the quality of service to international visitors.

According to the organizers, the English learning movement is being implemented from April to the end of 2026, aiming to improve foreign language proficiency, especially communication skills for union members and workers. Thereby, contributing to meeting the increasing demands of serving international tourists.

The learning content is built in association with practical work, focusing on communication situations commonly encountered in tourism activities. The movement also encourages union members and workers to actively self-study, self-practice and apply English to their daily work.

Representatives of the grassroots Trade Union said that the launch of the movement not only contributes to improving the quality of human resources but also creates a positive learning environment, promoting the spirit of self-learning among union members and workers.

Through this activity, the Trade Union expects to build a professional labor force, better meeting the requirements of tourism development in the new situation.
