On December 26, the Quang Tri Provincial Industry and Trade Trade Union (under the Quang Tri Provincial Labor Federation) held a conference to summarize activities in 2024.
In 2024, the Provincial Trade Union of Industry and Trade mobilized the establishment of 2 grassroots trade unions and developed 149 union members. Organizing propaganda, legal advice, implementing "Union Meals", giving "Kitchen Corner of Love", "Raising piggy banks, giving love" to female workers and employees, starting construction, handing over "Union Shelter" houses... and many other meaningful activities were organized to attract the participation of many union members and employees.
In 2024, activities organized by the Provincial Industry and Trade Union focused on the grassroots level to care for and protect the legitimate interests of union members and workers, especially those in difficult circumstances and those who lost their jobs. 100% of union members and workers in the industry were cared for and given gifts by trade unions at all levels, heads of units and enterprises during Tet.
During the year, the Trade Union of Industry and Trade of Quang Tri province received 3 collective complaints from employees and proactively verified and handled 2 complaints, completely resolved policies and regimes for 43 employees; at the same time, guided 41 employees on the procedures for complaints and lawsuits according to the provisions of law.
Mr. Hoang Van Tuan - Chairman of the Trade Union of Industry and Trade of Quang Tri province said that the key tasks and topics of trade union activities in 2024 have been widely organized at the grassroots level, with the participation of a large number of union members and workers, receiving the consensus and responsibility of unit heads and business owners.
Entering 2025, with the spirit of continuing innovation and creativity in organization and operation, the Provincial Industry and Trade Union will focus on implementing the Resolution of the 4th Congress of the Industry Union and the superior Union effectively and practically.
