Attending the training conference were 274 delegates who were Executive Committee members, Inspection Committee members of the Thai Binh Provincial Federation of Labor, full-time provincial union officials, and leaders of grassroots trade unions of enterprises with many union members and workers in the province.
At the training course, delegates listened to Mr. Nguyen Vinh Quang - Deputy Head of Labor Relations Department, Vietnam General Confederation of Labor discuss basic contents, regulations on collective bargaining, collective labor agreements; regulations of Vietnam General Confederation of Labor on assessment and classification of collective labor agreements; methods of determining, developing content, steps to conduct effective collective bargaining.
In addition to consolidating knowledge, delegates discussed and organized practice building collective labor agreements with the following contents: Employment, job security; working time, rest, overtime, break between shifts; salary, bonus, allowance, salary increase; regulations for female workers; welfare; trade union activities...
Through the conference, the aim is to raise awareness and equip union officials at all levels with basic knowledge and skills on dialogue, negotiation, and signing of collective labor agreements, with the aim of improving the quantity and quality of dialogue, collective bargaining, and collective labor agreements.
At the same time, clearly define the work content, deadline, completion progress and responsibilities of the trade union and trade union officials at all levels in proactively implementing dialogue training and collective bargaining to contribute to creating sustainable jobs, improving wages, bonuses, working hours, rest hours, meal quality, ensuring safety and hygiene for union members and workers, promoting sustainable business development and building harmonious, stable and progressive labor relations.
