On November 14th, at Anker Vietnam Sport Shoes Import-Export Joint Stock Company under Dong La Industrial Cluster (Dong La Commune, Dong Hung District, Thai Binh Province), Dong Hung District Trade Union held to announce the decision to establish a new grassroots trade union.
At the launching ceremony of the grassroots trade union, Anker Vietnam Sport Shoes Import and Export Joint Stock Company, Dong Hung District Trade Union handed over the decision to establish the grassroots trade union to the Provisional Executive Committee and announced the decision to admit 228 workers to the Vietnam Trade Union; At the same time, 20 gifts (each valued at 300 thousand VND) were given to motivate workers in difficult circumstances.
It is known that Anker Vietnam Sport Shoes Import and Export Joint Stock Company is an enterprise specializing in manufacturing and processing shoes for major brands exported to European and Asian countries.
The company started production in March 2024, currently creating jobs for more than 300 workers with an average salary of over 7 million VND/person/month. All workers are covered by insurance according to regulations. In the coming time, the company is continuing to recruit 100 more workers to meet the needs of production development.
Chairwoman of Dong Hung District Trade Union - Ms. Dinh Thi Hoa - said: "After deciding to establish the company's Trade Union, the District Trade Union guided and directed the Trade Union to develop the contents and programs of activities, especially to coordinate with employers to build collective labor agreements to ensure the legitimate rights and interests of employees. The company's Trade Union must regularly propagate and guide union members to properly implement the Labor Law and the regulations of the enterprise, promptly resolve problems so that union members are attached to the company...".
Immediately after the ceremony to hand over the decision to establish the Trade Union of Anker Vietnam Sports Shoes Import-Export Joint Stock Company, Dong Hung District Trade Union coordinated with the District Police to organize communication on security and order for workers at this enterprise.
