Thai Binh Provincial Trade Union currently has about 1,638 grassroots trade unions, including 482 grassroots trade unions in the enterprise sector and 1,156 grassroots trade unions in the administrative and career sector. 100% of the grassroots union chairmen are part-time cadres. To foster skills and expertise for the team of grassroots union chairmen, the Provincial Federation of Labor regularly develops plans, projects, and training programs for grassroots union officials.

In the period of 2018 - 2024, more than 40,000 union officials at all levels have been trained in union work with a total budget of over 5 billion VND; 100% of new union chairmen participating for the first time have been trained in union work.
