On November 7, the Cai Lay District Labor Federation (Tien Giang Province) coordinated with the Cai Lay District Culture, Sports and Broadcasting Center to organize the closing ceremony of the 2024 Cai Lay District Workers' and Civil Servants' Mini Football Tournament.
The 2024 Cai Lay District Workers' Mini Football Tournament has 14 men's teams and 5 women's teams, with a total of 285 athletes participating. After 3 days of exciting and enthusiastic competition, in the spirit of joy, solidarity, and honesty, the teams have dedicated to the audience highly technical football plays and beautiful goals.
In the final result, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in men's football to Tam Binh commune team; the first prize in women's football to Phu An commune team.
Mr. Nguyen Duc Kien - Chairman of Cai Lay District Labor Federation - said that in recent times, the District Labor Federation has paid great attention to the lives of union members. Through activities to create exchanges, learning and connection between grassroots unions, thereby creating motivation for union members and workers in the area to compete in working, laboring and producing effectively.
"During the tournament, a large number of officials, union members, employees and people came to watch and cheer. Thereby, it increased exchanges, mutual learning of experiences, strengthened solidarity and improved health, creating a healthy playground for workers" - Mr. Kien said.
