The art program with the theme "Aspiration to be a pioneer - Steadfast in the future" organized by the City Labor Federation will take place on the evening of January 3, 2026 at Tran Nhan Tong pedestrian street.
This is a program to celebrate the success of the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Previously, on the evening of December 31, 2025, the Hanoi City Labor Federation coordinated with the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Anh commune to organize an art program to celebrate the success of the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030 and New Year 2026.
Attending the program were Mr. Nguyen Van Thang - Member of the Presidium of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labour, Member of the City Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Hanoi City, Chairman of the Hanoi Labor Federation and leaders of the Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Anh commune; a large number of CNVCLD, People in Dong Anh commune and neighboring localities.
Here, Vice Chairman of Hanoi City Labor Federation Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy briefly informed about the results of the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress, term 2025 - 2030.
Accordingly, the 18th Hanoi City Trade Union Congress takes place on December 29-30, 2025. This is an important political event, a big festival for officials, union members and workers and employees of the Capital; marking a new development step of the workers and employees movement and the Hanoi Trade Union organization in the cause of building and developing a civilized and modern Capital.
550 delegates representing the will, aspirations and beliefs of more than 580,000 Hanoi Trade Union members attended the Congress.
With the action motto "Unity - Democracy - Discipline - Innovation - Development", the Congress focuses on comprehensively and objectively evaluating the results of Trade Union activities and the CNVCLD movement in the period 2023 - 2025; frankly pointing out shortcomings and limitations, clarifying the causes and drawing important lessons learned for the next term.
The Congress identified 10 groups of targets, including 5 groups of targets to be implemented by the end of the term, 3 strategic breakthroughs and 7 groups of key solutions to create a foundation for building a strong and comprehensive Capital Trade Union, accompanying the Capital and the country into a new era.
The Congress democratically elected 50 people to the Executive Committee of the City Labor Federation of the XVIII term; elected 14 people to the Standing Committee. Mr. Nguyen Van Thang was elected to hold the position of Chairman of the Hanoi City Labor Federation of the XVIII term. Mr. and Mrs. Le Dinh Hung, Nguyen Huy Khanh, Nguyen Thi Thu Thuy were re-elected, holding the position of Vice Chairman of the City Labor Federation of the XVIII term.
