Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Health Station is a non-business unit directly under the Ward People's Committee, reorganized from the Health Center system according to the policy of arranging and streamlining the organizational structure.
As soon as the Health Station was reorganized, the Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam ward coordinated with the Management Board of the Health Station to propagate and mobilize officials, employees, and workers to learn about the Charter of the Vietnam Trade Union; rights and obligations of union members; the role of the Trade Union organization in representing, caring for, and protecting the rights of workers.
Through this, 100% of officials, employees, and laborers of the Health Station voluntarily applied to join the Vietnam Trade Union organization.
Along with the Decision on establishing the grassroots Trade Union being announced, there is also a Decision appointing the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union in accordance with regulations. The grassroots Trade Union of Van Mieu - Quoc Tu Giam Ward Health Station was established with 87 union members. Ms. Nguyen Thu Trang was appointed to hold the position of Chairwoman of the grassroots Trade Union.
According to Ms. Nguyen Thu Trang, in the coming time, the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union will quickly stabilize the organization, assign specific tasks to each person; develop working regulations and work programs suitable to the specific characteristics of the Health Station; closely coordinate with the Station's leadership in implementing grassroots democracy regulations; care for and protect the legitimate and lawful rights of union members and workers.
The grassroots trade union will proactively listen to the thoughts and aspirations of union members; promote the role of a bridge between union members and the unit's leadership; build a united, unified, and responsible collective; launch and effectively implement emulation movements, contributing to the Health Station to successfully complete the assigned tasks.
