The congress was attended by 136 official delegates representing over 6,380 union members from grassroots unions in the ward.
Immediately after its establishment on September 24, 2025, Lang Ward Trade Union received the attention, direction and direct guidance of the Party Committee, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the ward and especially the support of the City Labor Federation in perfecting the organization, orienting tasks, and developing initial operational plans. In the 2025 - 2030 term, the Ward Union identified the general goal of promoting the tradition of solidarity, responsibility and creativity, innovation and improving the effectiveness of gathering work, mobilizing union members and workers to join the Union organization.
Innovation the content and methods of Trade Union activities to meet the requirements in the new situation; care for the lives, protect the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers; build a team of Trade Union officials to meet the requirements of the digital transformation period; contribute to accompanying the Party Committee and the People to build Lang ward for sustainable development in the new era - civilized, modern - happy people.
The ward union has identified targets, including: Striving for 70% of workers, civil servants, and laborers to thoroughly grasp and study the Party's directives and resolutions, and be disseminated the State's laws and policies, and the Trade Union Resolutions at all levels. 75% of enterprises and units with trade unions negotiate and sign Collective Labor Agreements according to the provisions of law. Strive for 75% or more of grassroots trade unions to register and build agencies, units and enterprises that meet cultural standards.
Strive to complete the targets assigned by the City Labor Federation on increasing the number of union members by 2030, establishing grassroots unions in the area with 15 or more employees. Strive for 55% or more of grassroots trade unions to be classified as good and excellent. Strive for 99% of grassroots union officials to be trained and fostered in professional skills in union work. 99% of grassroots union officials are trained in digital transformation, improve their digital transformation capacity every year, have basic digital skills, be proficient in using smart devices, digital applications of the City, Digital Front and digital platforms of the union organization...
The ward union has identified 2 breakthroughs, including: Breakthrough in digital transformation, application of science and technology, information technology, artificial intelligence in all fields, towards convenience for union officials, workers, civil servants, laborers and enterprises; Focus on developing union members, establishing grassroots unions in non-state enterprises.
