At each business, leaders of the City Labor Federation presented 200 gifts to workers, each gift including 1 million VND in cash and a gift bag worth 300,000 VND. The gifts were handed to workers amidst joyful applause and emotional eyes, warming up the atmosphere of the days leading up to Tet.

Holding the Tet gift from the Trade Union organization, Ms. Hoang Thi Hoa - a worker from Bac Ninh, who has been attached to Yamaha Motor Vietnam Motorcycle Parts Co., Ltd. for 18 years - could not hide her emotion. Her family has 4 people, with a total income of about 15 million VND/month, her husband is a freelancer, and two young children are of school age, and they have to rent a room, so life is still very difficult.
