After clearly understanding the position, role and function of the Vietnam Trade Union, the school's workers unanimously submitted an application to join the Vietnam Trade Union. This legitimate aspiration was approved by the Standing Committee of the Long Bien District Labor Federation, which issued a Decision to establish the Marie Curie Long Bien Inter-level School's grassroots Trade Union.
Ms. Vu Thi Nhung - Vice Principal of Marie Curie System, President of Marie Curie Long Bien Inter-level School Union - said that the established grassroots Union will perform the role of representing workers, so it needs direction, creation of all conditions, guidance on the content, professional work of the union, and how to organize movements from the Long Bien District Labor Federation; at the same time, she hopes to receive support and facilitation from the unit's leadership in terms of materials, time, and enthusiastic support from union members throughout the unit.
