Accordingly, 34 workers working at 3 private preschool groups including: Tuoi Tho 2 Preschool Group; Ngoi Sao Xanh Preschool Group and Tu Chi Private Preschool Group have voluntarily submitted applications to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
In response to the legitimate needs of workers, the District Labor Federation issued a Decision to establish 3 grassroots unions and admit 34 union members into the Vietnam Trade Union Organization.
In the past time, with the coordination of the District Education and Training Department and the Trade Unions of communes and towns, the District Labor Federation has actively organized to enterprises and private preschools in the area to propagate and guide workers in enterprises to establish a propaganda committee to mobilize union members. The District Labor Federation also directly worked with business owners and employers to create conditions for workers to join the Vietnam Trade Union.
Mr. Nguyen Danh Huy - Chairman of Thanh Tri District Labor Federation acknowledged the results achieved by the Mobilization Committee, in which the core is the grassroots Trade Union of communes and towns - where the groups and classes are headquartered, has promoted and mobilized workers to participate in the Trade Union organization.
In order for the Trade Union activities in preschool groups to operate well and effectively in the coming time, the leaders of the District Labor Federation requested that the owners of the groups pay attention to creating conditions for the grassroots Trade Union to operate according to the regulations of the Vietnam Trade Union Charter. The leaders of the District Labor Federation also assigned the task to the Executive Committee of the grassroots Trade Union to develop the regulations for the Executive Committee's activities; develop regulations for coordination with the Group Management Board...
In 2024, Thanh Tri District Labor Federation strives to establish more than 20 grassroots trade union organizations with more than 2,000 new union members admitted.
