Four new grassroots unions were established with 157 members

Hanoi - On December 23, the Tay Ho District Labor Federation announced that the unit had newly established 4 grassroots unions with 157 union members.

Identifying the development of union members and the establishment of grassroots unions as particularly important tasks, the Steering Committee for the development of union members and the establishment of union organizations in economic sectors of Tay Ho district has taken drastic action.

In 2024, Tay Ho district established 64 new grassroots unions, of which 31 grassroots unions were established from 2 dissolved grassroots unions; 33 grassroots unions were established at enterprises, newly developed with 3,957 union members (the number of union members developed at grassroots unions was 2,695 union members); 4 new grassroots unions were established with 157 union members.

To achieve the above results, the Steering Committee for developing union members and establishing trade union organizations in economic sectors has always received the attention, leadership and direction of the Standing Committee of the District Party Committee; the assistance and facilitation of many aspects of the District People's Committee; the support and participation of the district's departments, branches, sectors, and socio-political organizations.

In addition, the Party Committee of the business sector and the District Department of Education and Training proactively and responsibly coordinate with the Steering Committee in mobilizing union members and establishing grassroots unions, especially in mobilizing the establishment of private preschool unions in the district.
