After 5 years of implementing Conclusion No. 01-KL/TW of the Politburo, the Capital's Trade Union levels have concretized the study and following of Uncle Ho with many creative and practical models, suitable to the specific characteristics of each agency, unit, and enterprise. Studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style is closely linked to professional tasks, with patriotic emulation movements, becoming an important driving force to promote officials, union members, workers, civil servants, and laborers to constantly strive and contribute.
From the reality of the movement, more and more effective and meaningful models have appeared such as: "Tet Sum vay", "Trade Union Tet Market", "Meaningful Ticket", "Trade Union Home", "Worker Cultural Activity Point", "Trade Union Relaxation Corner", "Ho Chi Minh Cultural Space", "Trade Union Bookshelf", "Trade Union Accompanying Businesses", "Dialogue at Workplace", "Workers for Businesses, Businesses for Workers"... These activities not only care for the material and spiritual life of workers but also widely spread the humanistic values, sense of responsibility and dedication of the Trade Union organization to union members.
It is worth noting that studying and following Uncle Ho does not stop at slogans or formal movements but has truly gone into depth, becoming a regular task in each agency and unit. From the spirit of responsibility in work, the awareness of serving the people and businesses to the attitude of dedication to union members and workers, all bear the imprint of following Uncle Ho. There have been 1,996 collectives and 4,104 individuals registered to implement 8,510 following Uncle Ho actions with specific and practical actions.
The emulation movements "Good Labor", "Initiatives, Creativity", "Good People, Good Deeds", "Good at work, good at home" continue to be maintained and strongly developed, making an important contribution to the completion of socio-economic development targets of the Capital annually.
In particular, the emulation movement to strive to achieve the title of Good Worker of the Capital has truly become a highlight of the Hanoi Trade Union organization. In the past 5 years, the whole city has had more than 154,000 turns of workers achieving the title of Good Worker at the grassroots level; 500 turns of workers were commended with the title of Good Worker of the Capital.
Within the framework of the Program, the delegation of the Hanoi Labor Federation visited President Ho Chi Minh's Mausoleum, reported achievements to Uncle Ho and expressed their determination to continue to promote the tradition of the Capital's working class, build an increasingly strong Trade Union organization, accompanying the development of Hanoi and the country.
Speaking at the Conference, Standing Vice President of the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor Thai Thu Xuong assessed: The bright spot here that needs to be emphasized is the concretization of the content of studying Uncle Ho through patriotic emulation movements. Hanoi Trade Union levels have built a comprehensive emulation ecosystem, from the movement "Initiatives and creativity among workers and employees of the Capital", "Good at state affairs, good at housework" to the movements "Culture - Sports", "Green - clean - beautiful, ensuring occupational safety and health".
This is one of the activities of special significance towards the 136th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth; achieving achievements to celebrate the success of the 11th National Congress of the Vietnam Fatherland Front; towards the 14th Vietnam Trade Union Congress.
The Hanoi Labor Federation commended and honored 10 collectives and 20 typical individuals in studying and following Uncle Ho in the period 2023-2025 and commended 100 excellent workers of the Capital.
These are typical examples, representing the spirit of responsibility, dedication and aspiration to build an increasingly civilized and modern Capital.
