Although there was no rain, strong winds caused many trees to be uprooted, broken trunks, and broken branches to fall onto the road, obstructing vehicles to participate in traffic.

Mr. Le Thanh Cong - a resident on Phan Chau Trinh Street, Ward 1, Tra Vinh City - said that today, there were strong winds from early morning until about 15:30. A tree in front of his house had a broken large branch. Less than 10 minutes later, another second branch broke and fell, blocking the road.
According to Mr. Cong, it was not rush hour at that time, so fortunately there were no vehicles passing through, not affecting human life.

"I immediately called the City Urban Management Department to send forces down to handle the situation so that traffic can be normal," Mr. Cong added.
According to the reporter's records, on February 24, in Tra Vinh City, 3 trees fell and many branches were broken.
Immediately after the incident, the authorities quickly arrived at the scene to handle the situation. Workers promptly trimmed and transported fallen trees, ensuring no traffic congestion.

The militia and environmental workers have also regulated traffic, helping people travel safely and smoothly. They used cranes and saws to handle fallen trees, avoiding prolonged congestion.
Tra Vinh City currently has nearly 14,000 shade trees on 72 streets, including about 800 ancient trees over 100 years old.
