On June 6, the AVC Cup 2026 officially kicked off in the Philippines with the first matches of the group stage.

After the match of the Vietnamese team, Group B continues to have a confrontation between Kazakhstan and Hong Kong (China) at 11:00 AM. This is a match of great significance in the competition for the top positions in the group.
In Group A, the host Philippines will meet Uzbekistan at 2:00 PM. With home advantage and the cheers of the audience, the Philippines is expected to have a favorable start.
Meanwhile, the match between South Korea and Kyrgyzstan at 8:00 PM also attracted attention as the East Asian representative was one of the candidates for the medal group.
