MINH PHONG |

Updated competition schedule of the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship.

Today (August 29), the first two matches of the 1/8 round of the 2025 Women's Volleyball World Championship will take place.

At 5:00 p.m., the Dutch women's team will face Serbia. Previously, in the group stage, the Netherlands led Group A with 7 points (3 wins), while Serbia ranked second in Group H with 6 points (2 wins, 1 loss). However, this match is considered quite balanced.

The highlight of today's competition day is the match between the Japanese and Thai women's teams - two representatives from Asia. The team from the land of the rising sun had quite good results in the group stage with the top spot in Group H and Thailand also held the second spot in Group A.

The home team wants to defeat Japan to go deep in this year's tournament, but this is not an easy challenge for Thatdao and his teammates.

Schedule of today's Women's Volleyball World Championship (August 29):

17:00: Netherlands - Serbia

20:30: Japan - Thailand
