Phase 2 of the 2024 National Volleyball Championship - women's event will start from November 7 to November 17 in Lao Cai.
Accordingly, the group stage matches will take place from November 7 to November 12 to determine the top 4 strongest teams to compete in the final round and the remaining teams will compete in the classification round. The final round and classification round will take place from November 14 to November 17.
The champion club will represent Vietnamese volleyball at the Asian arena next year. Meanwhile, the two lowest-ranked teams (ranked 8th and 9th) will be relegated.
Previously, at the end of phase 1 (April 2024), the 3 teams temporarily leading were the Information Corps (12 points), VTV Binh Dien Long An (11 points) and LPB Ninh Binh (10 points).
The remaining 6 positions are Long Son Thanh Hoa Cement (9 points), Duc Giang Lao Cai Chemicals (6 points), Vietinbank (5 points), Quang Ninh (4 points), Geleximco Thai Binh (4 points) and Hanoi (0 points).
According to the regulations, in the 2024 National Volleyball Championship, there will be 2 relegated teams in the men's and women's categories. Meanwhile, the 2024 National A-League will only have 1 men's team and 1 women's team promoted. Starting from the next season (2025), Vietnamese volleyball will limit the number of teams in the national championship to 8 men's teams and 8 women's teams.
