On December 28, the Standing Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee (VFF) of Dong Nai province, in coordination with sponsors, awarded scholarships "Nguyen Van Ky" and "Wings of Dreams" for the 2025-2026 school year to 150 students from poor households, households in difficult circumstances and children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, martyrs who overcame difficulties and studied well.


The support level is from 1.5 million VND to 10 million VND per student, with a total budget of 865 million VND in the 2025-2026 school year.
For Nguyen Van Ky scholarships, there are 99 scholarships with a total amount of 400 million VND; The "Wings of Dreams" Fund has 51 scholarships with a total amount of 465 million VND.

Speaking at the program, Mr. Ha Anh Dung - Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Standing Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Dong Nai province said: In recent years, along with the strong development of Dong Nai province, education - training and care for the young generation have always been of particular concern to Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front and the whole society.

However, reality shows that there are still many students who, despite their efforts and strong will, still face many difficulties in their family's economic conditions, facing the risk of school disruption.
Starting from that spirit, the Vietnam Fatherland Front of the province has been and is doing a good job of connecting, gathering and promoting social resources, including humanitarian and sustainable scholarship programs such as "Nguyen Van Ky" and "Wings of Dreams", contributing to concretizing the policy of "not leaving anyone behind".
The "Nguyen Van Ky" Scholarship Fund was established in 2012, with a capital of 1 billion VND. Over 13 years of operation, the Fund has awarded 1,954 scholarships, worth more than 5.8 billion VND, to poor students and students in difficult circumstances but with the will to rise up in their studies of Dong Nai province who are studying at Quyet Thang Secondary School, Luong The Vinh High School for the Gifted, Dong Nai Medical College, Lac Hong University, and Dong Nai University.
The "Wings of Dreams" Scholarship Fund was established in 2018, with a capital of 20 billion VND. Over 7 years of operation, the Fund has awarded 602 scholarships, worth more than 4.6 billion VND, to students who are children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of Vietnamese Heroic Mothers and Martyrs in difficult circumstances who overcome difficulties and study well in Dong Nai province.
