On April 9, a working delegation of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front led by Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy - Vice Chairman visited and wished Tet to the traditional Chol Chnam Thmay of the Khmer people in Vinh Long province.
The program was organized at the Political Center of Tra Vinh ward, with the participation of provincial leaders, representatives of departments and branches, along with a large number of dignitaries, officials, Achars, prestigious people and Khmer people.
Here, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front presented 50 gifts to dignitaries, officials, Achars and prestigious people, recognizing their contributions in mobilizing people to comply with guidelines and policies, and preserve cultural identity.
Next, the delegation presented 100 gifts to poor, near-poor and difficult Khmer households. Each gift is worth 1.3 million VND, including necessities and 1 million VND in cash, contributing to helping people celebrate Tet happily and warmly.

Ms. Thach Thi Sang (Nguyet Hoa ward) said that the gift is a practical source of encouragement, helping the family have conditions to prepare for Tet more fully. Mr. Kien Sanh also expressed his joy, saying that this meaningful activity contributes to consolidating the people's trust in the Party and the State.
Speaking at the program, Mr. Hoang Cong Thuy informed about the results of the 14th National Party Congress, the socio-economic situation in the first quarter of 2026 and Front work in the past time. At the same time, he sent New Year greetings to the Khmer people, wishing them to continue to promote the spirit of solidarity and actively participate in patriotic emulation movements.
Representatives of the Vinh Long Provincial Patriotic Monks Solidarity Association expressed their gratitude for the attention of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front, affirming that they will continue to mobilize people to well comply with policies and guidelines, contributing to building the great national unity bloc.
The activity of visiting and wishing Tet Chol Chnam Thmay 2026 in Vinh Long is of practical significance, showing timely care for Khmer people, contributing to consolidating trust and strengthening solidarity.
