On the afternoon of February 4, at Regiment 720, Quang Tan commune, Lam Dong province, Brigade 16 coordinated with local authorities to organize a gift-giving program "Border Spring - Tet reunion imbued with military-civilian affection".
This includes activities to give Tet gifts to officials, union members, association members and employees in the unit on the occasion of the Binh Ngo Lunar New Year 2026.
Within the framework of the program, the Organizing Committee presented 43 Tet gifts to officials, union members, association members, workers and orphans raised by the unit in difficult circumstances.
The gifts express affection, responsibility and sharing, contributing to encouraging spirit, helping officers, soldiers and employees feel secure in their work, attached to the unit, and successfully complete assigned tasks.
Speaking at the program, Colonel Vu Van Dinh - Deputy Head of the Political Department of Corps 16 emphasized that the activity "Border Spring - Tet reunion imbued with military-civilian solidarity" not only shows timely care and concern in terms of material and spiritual aspects but also affirms the tradition of solidarity, affection, and responsibility of the Corps towards cadres, employees, and laborers.
Thereby, contributing to building a comprehensively strong unit, successfully completing the tasks of 2026.
On the same day, Regiment 720 (under Brigade 16) coordinated with Lam Dong Provincial Police and Quang Tan Commune Police to organize a propaganda and mobilization session for the entire population to participate in the fight against crime, law violations and hand over weapons, explosives, and support tools.
At the propaganda session, representatives of Quang Tan Commune Police disseminated legal regulations on crime prevention and control; clarified the dangers, harms and serious consequences of illegal possession and use of weapons, explosives, and supporting tools.

At the same time, the unit called on people to raise awareness of law compliance, actively participate in denouncing crimes and voluntarily hand over weapons, explosives, and supporting tools according to regulations.
In the program, representatives of village elders and village heads of Quang Tan commune spoke in response, expressing high consensus with the policies of the Party, State and functional forces.
Thereby, committing to continue to promote the role and prestige in the community, actively propagate and mobilize people to strictly comply with the provisions of the law, not violate the law, not illegally possess and use weapons, explosives, and supporting tools, contributing to maintaining security and order in the locality.

On this occasion, Regiment 720 in coordination with forces presented 20 gifts to households in difficult circumstances in Quang Tan commune.
This activity demonstrates the spirit of responsibility, concern, and sharing of the armed forces and local authorities towards the people, contributing to encouraging families to overcome difficulties and stabilize their lives.
