On March 3, in Cang Long commune, Vinh Long province, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province organized a meeting between voters and candidates for the 16th National Assembly, constituency No. 3, with nearly 200 voters attending.
At the conference, candidates presented a summary biography and action program. The atmosphere of the meeting was democratic and frank, with many opinions focused on issues close to the lives of local people.
After presenting the action program, voters frankly raised many issues that are being raised in life and economic growth conditions.

According to Mr. Le Van Cong, there needs to be stronger solutions to control and strictly handle violations. "Bad and toxic information spreads quickly, affecting security and order and people's lives, especially the elderly. It is proposed to strengthen propaganda and guide online fraud identification skills," Mr. Cong said.
In addition, many opinions suggested upgrading the rural transport system, ensuring the quality of bridges, roads, schools, stations, and strictly managing the agricultural material market. Voters believe that it is necessary to closely supervise construction to avoid degradation and waste of investment resources.
According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong, the demand for social housing is still large, especially for low-income people and workers, and appropriate policies are needed to help people soon stabilize their housing.
He also proposed to accelerate the salary reform roadmap, ensure income to keep up with market price fluctuations, and help workers feel secure in their work and stabilize their lives.

The field of grassroots healthcare is also being concerned. Ms. Le Thi Gil said that many health stations still lack human resources and equipment, and proposed to supplement resources and improve the quality of initial medical examination and treatment for people.
Mr. Le Van Nam said that the work of ensuring security and order needs to be regularly concerned, especially the situation of drug evils that are still potentially complicated. According to him, it is necessary to strengthen patrols in residential areas, schools and places of worship, promptly detect and prevent violations, and maintain a safe and healthy environment for people.
Representing the candidates, Mr. Tran Quoc Tuan - Member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Director of Vinh Long Department of Industry and Trade - acknowledged, received the opinions and affirmed that he would study and complete the action program to be practical.
The voter contact conference is an opportunity for candidates to listen to the thoughts and aspirations of the people, thereby consolidating trust and promoting the right to mastery of voters before the election day according to legal regulations.
