On July 25, the Provincial Party Committee, the People's Council, the People's Committee, the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee and the armed forces of An Giang province held a visit to the Provincial Martyrs' Cemetery (in Rach Gia ward).
This is a meaningful activity on the occasion of the 78th anniversary of the War Invalids and Martyrs' Day to commemorate the merits of the heroic martyrs who sacrificed for the cause of national liberation and national defense.

At the visitation ceremony, delegates respectfully offered flowers, incense and observed a moment of silence in front of the Monument of the Fatherland's Merit to commemorate the great contributions of the heroic martyrs; burned incense in gratitude on each martyr's grave resting in the cemetery.

The visitation ceremony demonstrates the tradition of remembering the source of drinking water and the deep pride and gratitude for the heroic martyrs.
